About Coach Koran Godwin

Coach Koran Godwin is a basketball trainer, scorer, and the founder of BallHogGloves.com and JumpStart Hoops (est. 2006). Originally from Roselle, New Jersey, Godwin holds the all-time scoring record at Abraham Clark High School and was named NJ All-State in 1998 before playing collegiately at the University of Buffalo and the University of North Florida, where he also set the school’s all-time scoring record. He participated in a pre-draft workout with the Orlando Magic in 2002 and began his coaching career at UNF in 2003.

Trained by Coach Chris Chevannes since age 15, Coach Godwin has spent two decades developing basketball players’ shooting, ball handling, and scoring skills, helping athletes earn more than $25 million in athletic scholarships.
